A Day at the Golf Course

We went to the Burley Golf Course to spend the day with Bear. It was a great day. I stopped to pick up loaves of bread to feed the ducks and geese, but discovered that they are not used to being fed. Golfers are way too busy for that! They scurried off when I threw bread at them. Mandy did a great job driving the cart in an attempt to herd them, but they slipped into the river. When we drove back from the back 9, we could see that they had found our offerings!

This is the youngest family. This is the family with 3 teenagers!

If you look really closely you can see them out in the fairway!

They both scurried into the water when we threw bread at them!

It's hard to see but a pair of Mallard ducks are sitting out on the fountain

(turned off) in the middle of the pond.

"Hurry and get in the water!"

You've got mail! Actually golf score cards!

Is that texting I see?

That was a Tiger Woods shot!

In one direction, the sky was beautiful.

All of the sudden this big black cloud rolled in.

Before we knew it, it was raining.
We headed in and called it a day!

  1. Cute! What a pretty place, and what a fun day! I love geese! It made me laugh reading about you throwing bread at them, i could just picture you hurling it at them!...and Mandy driving the cart with a sinister laugh trying to run them over! Haha, good times for sure!
